Movies With Cool Guns

Have you ever watched a movie and saw a gun that was just out-of-this-world awesome? I can’t tell you how many times I have done that. Have you ever been so curious that you decided to look for and buy some of those guns that are used in those intense fight scenes? Well, I have taken all of that hassle out of researching and given you a few short paragraphs about the coolest guns to ever hit the big screen.

American Sniper

Since this is a recent movie, you may be very familiar with it and what guns were used. One of the guns that were highly used was the MK 18 Mod 0 QCB. This gun has red dot sights, EOTech holographic sights, crane stocks, and LMT rear sights. The red dot sights are a great feature for any gun that they will fit on. The reason for this is because it gives you precise target acquisition, which is what made Chris Kyle such a great sniper. If you have any interest in having a red dot sight similar to one from the movie, check out

Say hello to my little friend!” One of the most recognized quotes in movie history made by Tony Montana in Scarface, portrayed by Al Pacino. The gun used was a M203 grenade launcher mounted to a M16 military grade assault rifle. Yes, this is an awesome gun, but the sad truth is that it didn’t really fire in the movie. This gun was auctioned off a few years back and sold for $25,000.

James Bond 007

We all know who James Bond is, but do we know which gun he uses? We all may know that it is a totally awesome gun, but did you know it is a Walther PPK? This gun features an exposed hammer, double action trigger mechanism, single-column magazine, and a fixes barrel. It was in service from 1935-1992 and can be purchased for upwards of $400.

The Mini-gun, an electric powered Gatling gun, has been used in a bunch of movies including Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger. This gun can blast off 2,000-6,000 rounds a minute of 7.62mm bullets. You can buy one of these bad boys, although it may not be easy, for upwards of $1,000+.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

This movie still gives me the creeps and that gun is just as scary looking as the Terminator is. I  can still hear the sound of that gun going off in my dreams. The gun I am talking about is a sawn-off, 12 gauge, M1887 Winchester lever action shotgun. Yes, sawn-off shotguns are mostly illegal, but you can buy a regular Winchester 1887 for around $1100.

So, there you have it, some of the coolest movie guns of all time. If your favorite ones didn’t make the list, maybe they weren’t that cool after all? A lof of the coolest movie guns are fictional, but those that aren’t may be up for grabs. Wouldn’t hurt to take a look around.
